“SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE SUNDAY” is being celebrated this month in the Christian church. Churches around the United States use this day to celebrate God's gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage. Next week we will be doing a couple things to remember this time. After the absence of several years, we are also going to participate in the national program, “Baby Bottle Boomerang”, filling baby bottles with loose change (or bills or checks), to benefit the Cortland Pregnancy Center. This is the local agency working with women to preserve lives. Next Sunday there will be a diaper bag in the back filled with empty baby bottles for you to sign up for one (or more). We’re asking that filled bottles be returned to the church office by the end of February. Thanks for your help as we work to support life!
